The Kiwanis Rodeo will start at 7:00 pm on April 25. It will present all the traditional rodeo events such as bronc riding, calf roping, barrel racing, steer riding and special events. The rodeo is being held at the Bulloch County Agricultural Complex on 44 Arena Blvd. in Statesboro, Ga. We will leave HHI at 10 and arrive at the Mello Mushroom on 1098 Bermuda Run in Statesboro for lunch. . We plan to spend the afternoon of the 25th photographing the Georgia Southern University Botanical Garden before an early dinner at the Bull And Barrel Steakhouse at 30 W. Main St. in Statesboro 912-259-9990. The rodeo last until 9:30. As it is about an hour and 45 minutes drive back to HHI which would get us home between 11:30 and 12. We will determine how many of the sign ups want to spend the night before we lock in a hotel. If we spend the night, we will have breakfast at the hotel and leave for home at 9:30 arriving home about 11 am.
