April-9- Charleston Window Box tour. In April hundreds of window boxes with a wide variety of flowers grace the facades of the town homes in the historic district. Although we will focus on the boxes, the houses and details there on always make for interesting images. Leave Lowes at 35 Malphrus Rd. at 8:00 to arrive at the parking garage on 90 Cumberland St. 10:00. Walk the historic district French Quarter section from Market to Broad Streets and at 12:00 stop for lunch at The Blind Tiger Pub at 36 & 38 Broad Street 843-872-6700. After lunch we will continue our walk along East Bay to see Rainbow Row and the marvelous large homes along East and South Battery until 3:00 when we will return to the garage and head home. We should be back to Lowes by 6:00 pm.
